This type of toxicicity is particularly detrimental when it comes to people with twisted personalities, whether at work or at home. They act by extracting your words and modifying their meaning to one that is purposefully different from the message you intended to send. They use this method to make you believe that your words were not appropriate, that you have crossed the line, or that you have not thought through what you were saying, thus hurting another person. Metamorphosing your words in this way, communicating them to the person who suits them best, and modifying their intention, all work to make you the bad guy in the movie.

The narcissism of this subject is specially marked. He feels justified and vindicated in is actions, like a white blackbird that has never broken a dish. He is the benchmark by which all his conclusions are drawn, and his rule is the only one that matters. This "ideal present" will constantly remind you that you are incorrect; he will point out your weaknesses and mock you with sarcasm whenever the occasion arises. These types are dedicated to judging others but do not usually look in the mirror for anything but to praise themselves.
